Saab 99 1.85 Liter Engine ECU - D-Jetronic **RARE!*** 

Up for sale is a Working, in excellent condition Saab 99 D-Jetronic ECU. Bosch Part number-- 0 280 000 018 - Saab part number 83 80 693 / 8380693 / 83 88 985 / 8388985 . This ECU came out of a rusty 72 1.85 Liter model with the "1/2 a Triumph-stag" motor. The car did run, so I can say for sure this unit works! This unit should be typical for all the D-Jet 70-73 cars equipped with the 1.85 Liter Motors (99-E / LE / GLE I think this should be - perhaps NOT the EMS) It may fit other models/years, but as always your best bet is to match the part number to the one on your ECU. 

If you still have one of these cars that is operational and has it's original D-Jet system you need a spare ECU for your car! If you wait till you actually "need" one, you will NOT be able to find one... Before determining if you have a defective D-jet ECU on a 99, you should check / replace your MAP sensor, and check the system grounds (which attach to your probably rusty battery tray.
