Audi Blower motor Regulator resistor

Up for sale is a good used Audi blower speed regulator. Audi part# R2005-20489/AIR - This unit removed from a recent crash damaged 1987 5000 with the Automatic climate control.  Please see the picture.  In between the 1987 1988 1989 Audi 5000 / Audi 200 Range the resistor changed design.  MOST pre 1988 Audi 5000's will have this type of resistor but this is not universal.  Please compare the picture of this one to yours.  They visually look very different.  If your resistor looks like the one pictured, this one is correct for your car.  These older units are hard to find, as they are listed from Audi as "No longer available" 

A failure of this unit will result in the loss of one or more fan speeds, or an nonoperational climate control unit. This will work on many different Audi models with automatic climate control system, I only sell the OEM units, never aftermarket so they are the same quality as your original. Thanks for looking!
