Audi / Bosch Ignition KEZ Control Unit ECU 

Up for sale is a Working, in excellent condition Audi 80/90/100/5000 Knock/Lambda Control ECU. Audi part number 443 907 397 M , Bosch part number 0 227 400 172 ( 443907397M). This came out of a audi 100- this should fit audi 80's and 90's from 87-91 - 5/4 cyl 8 valve/10 valve cars with knock sensor control. Your best bet is to match the part numbers with the part number off your original unit. On Audi 100's these are located under the panel to the left of the drivers left foot when in normal driving position.

These are generally fairly reliable units however they can be easily damaged by wiring faults or voltage spikes (caused by a bad alternator) A bad one can be noted by a random no spark condition that seems to correct itself after sitting for a short time, or a car that has no spark at all even though all the ignition components are in working order. One of the less common malfunctions with these units that I have seen is where the ignition computer won’t take over ignition control as it should and the distributor won’t advance under acceleration. This can mean the car will start and run fine, but will be overtly slow to accelerate.
