Up for sale is a Working, in excellent condition Subaru SVX ECU. From a 1996 model year car. - This is a very rare unit, OBD2 compliant, for the 1996 H6 SVX - this was one of the lowest production years for the SVX. Part number listed at top This unit offers a 30 day functionality warranty. This should fit others too, & as always with this type of component your best bet is to match the part number to the one on your original ECU.  

A faulty ECU is one of the most common no start or random stalling problems with these cars. These can also cause issues with erroneous check engine lights as well as emission control & cold or hot start problems. An erroneous check engine light is especially problematic, as the car will not pass the emissions portion of the test at the annual state inspection.These are also popular engines for use in aircraft as well as Volkswagen Vanagon vans, if you have the motor for one of these projects, you need the control unit too, better have an extra one you can change fast if you are using this motor in an aircraft! If your car does not have issues but you intend to keep it a while, I recommend our customers keep an extra ECU in the trunk. These units now have to be special ordered from most dealers new for big $$ (often times over $1000!), and you can never find one when you need one. Even now finding a good one second hand is getting to be quite difficult as these cars get older. these are located under the dash, on the driver side.
