Up for sale is a MERCEDES 450SL 450SLC Bosch Ignition Distributor.  This is correct for those cars with the D-Jetronic Fuel injection.  This unit being for the D-Jet system, has the dual points set up.  The D-jet EFI uses the lower pick up points, the upper points are for the fuel injection system.  This makes this a "rather complex" distributor.

This unit removed from a car that still ran fine once we replaced the fuel pumps, however had lived in New York it's whole life, had a bad top, and sat under a pine tree for about the last 12 years.  Obviously it was rusted beyond economical repair.
