Volvo Ignition Coil Module Bracket Assembly V70 850 900

p for sale is a good working Volvo 5 cylinder ignition amplifier. This will work with all 850 models. These generally last around 150,000 before a failure, but when it does fail it will prevent the car from starting. If you have no spark this is often times your problem. This is the device that "hears" the hall sensor in the distributor, fires the spark plugs and tells the ECU, "we are good to go, turn on the fuel pump and start working!" Generally if there is a problem with the ignition system on older volvos it's either this unit or the wiring to the hall or crank sensor that goes bad. These are fairly easy to replace, and they are over $287 from volvo for an OEM Bosch unit. This will fit all volvos with the 5 cyl's from 93-98. Get the part you need here for cheap! Also of note, these work on 1988 900-S and 1989 Saab 900 / 900-S models with the coil & ignition module assembly mounted on the passenger side inner fender.  You MAY need to drill a new hole for the mounting bracket, but that's all you need to do!  they plug right in and work. the part number SAAB unit this replaces is - 0 221 600 055 / 0221600055 / 7538796
