tr VW ECU Up for sale is a Working, in excellent condition Passat / Golf / 16 valve ECU. VW/Audi part number 8A0 907 404 CC (8A0907404CC), Bosch part # 0 261 200 858 (0261200858) . This ECU came out of a 1992 16v 2.0l Passat, and should also fit other similar models/years. However, as always your best bet is to match the part numbers with the part you need. A faulty ECU is one of the most common no start or random stalling problems with these cars. These can also cause issues with erroneous check engine lights as well as emission control & cold or hot start problems. An erroneous check engine light is especially problematic, as the car will not pass the emissions portion of the test at the annual state inspection.If your car does not have these issues but you intend to keep it a while, I recommend our customers keep an extra ECU in the trunk. These units now have to be special ordered from most dealers new for big $$ (often times over $1000!), and you can never find one when you need one.
